Is the Naked pan suitable for induction?
Yes, the Naked pan is suitable for induction, gas, ceramic, electric, oven safe up to 250 °C / 482 °F and even BBQ proof.
How to clean the Naked pan?
The best tip from our backer Korn, (who tested the pan extensively) is to just use some to simply rub a slice of lemon through the pan before briefly placing it in hot water. Then everything comes off easily.
What are the main advantages of an uncoated pan?
Chefs often comment cooking without coatings is 'the real deal'. It takes a little more time, but it challenges you to really cook, to keep your attention and to go back to the real thing. To cook without the training wheels on. The directness of the non-coated surface will give you immediate feedback on your cooking skills.
Plus, you don't have to worry about a coating that could possibly come off and ruin your dish (or health).
Is it true that your handle stays cool?
Thanks to the well-thought-out thin attachment to the pan, burned hands or tinkering with potholders is history! This enables cool handling of the pan, besides in the oven or barbeque of course ;)
What material is the Naked pan made of?
The Naked pan consists of the following 5 layers:
-Titanium cooking surface
-Inner layer Aluminum 1050
-Inner layer Aluminum 3003
-Inner layer Aluminum 1050
-Outside layer 430 Stainless steel.
The inner core of the Naked pan consists of three aluminum layers that make the pan suitable for induction and give the pan an excellent heat distribution making the pan very energy friendly. The three aluminum layers are 100% recycled from soda cans among other things!
Is the Naked pan dishwasher safe?
Yes, the Naked pan is dishwasher safe, but we strongly recommend hand cleaning the pan. Thanks to its structure it is very light and easy to clean by hand.
