Its a very good pan!
This pan works well. Gave eggs the test and didn’t make a mess and flipped easily.
This is a large pan that heats up evenly and well. The non-stick finish makes cooking easier with no oil or fat, or just a little, but it is not completely non-stick. Still, the large volume of this pan, its even heating and almost non-stick properties make this an almost perfect pan to use in putting together big one dish meals involving a lot of different ingredients that need cooking at different temperatures and then mixing together. It's good for sauteing meats of all kinds and vegetables, but frying eggs is not that easy. Cleaning this pan is a little harder than cleaning a true non-stick pan, but it is a lot easier to clean than an all stainless pan.
This has been our go-to pan for just about everything since we got it in the original crowd-funding campaign. Everyone who used it or saw it would always ask us about it. We’re so glad they’re available again - perfect as gifts as well!
I was part of the original kickstarter and loved the pan for years. Finally bought another one. Best pan I’ve ever owned.

What temperatures can the pans withstand?
The Blackbeard can withstand temperatures of up to 250 degrees Celsius.
Is the Blackbeard diswasher safe?
The Blackbeard is indeed dishwasher proof, but we recommend hand-cleaning the pan. Why is that you may wonder? In some regions water contains a lot of minerals of limestone, chalk and gypsum. When a product is cleaned for a long-time (fe. hours in the dishwasher) it can start damaging the surface. To give you an example take a look at washing your new glasses in the dishwasher often leading to chalk stains or marks. Therefore we recommend hand cleaning. The contact with water will be shorter than your dishwasher cycle.
Is it true that your handle stays cool?
Thanks to the well-thought-out thin attachment to the pan, burned hands or tinkering with potholders is history! This enables cool handling of the pan, besides in the oven or barbeque of course ;)
